Aligning learning curriculum at scale to drive capability uplift and support cost effective in-house learning delivery.
The Challenge
Based on our proven track-record in understanding and working with the complex and unique culture of one of Australia’s retail giants, we were engaged to design a suite of stand-alone learning modules (aligned to the company’s capability framework) to enable individuals across the organisation to develop capabilities important to the company’s success. Critical to the success of this engagement was to seamlessly weave the company’s values, culture and ways of doing business through all modules.
The Approach
Working collaboratively with the learning partners in each business, we designed a suite of engaging modules, for a broad audience, from individual contributors through to senior leaders. This involved a clever mix of experiential activities, scenarios and other learning modalities and covered topics ranging from personal effectiveness, conversations for leadership, communication and consulting/advisory skills. Wedesigned and developed customised course content, materials and facilitator kits thereby enabling consistent delivery and learner experience through the client’s skilled internal facilitation team.
The Outcome
As a result of our engagement this organisation has been able to provide high quality learning content, which lives and breathes their culture and values, at a cost effective price point to the business. Significant savings have been realised through the cessation of non-core curriculum and much greater cultural alignment has been achieved through consistent voice and messaging throughout all learning experiences.
